Veterans Assistance
The American Legion provides assistance to Veterans in many ways. The American Legion is a staunch advocate and facilitator of veterans benefits, always ensuring that veterans can properly use and access the benefits they earned with their service. Each Department has a Department Service Officer to help you understand what V.A. benefits you may qualify for and help you to file your claim. The American Legion also helps with temporary financial assistance for Veterans and disaster assistance. The American Legion can assist you with obtaining your DD-214 as well.
